In the 17th minute, Benigno Nahia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 20 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Lanus's Sergio Bidari sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Paolo Vigil narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Flavio Rodas got free with Blas George in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Paolo Vigil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sergio Bidari in the 27th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sergio Bidari in the 30th minute of play forced Charqui AFC's goalkeeper Paolo Vigil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 33 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Lanus's Sergio Bidari sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Paolo Vigil narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Sergio Bidari scored 0-1 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Paolo Vigil, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Charqui AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paolo Vigil should have stopped the shot. After the first half Club Atlético Lanus were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Samuel Ortzi made a kick off. Sergio Bidari received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Paolo Vigil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Flavio Rodas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 65 minutes, Samuel Ortzi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Charqui AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Samuel Ortzi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Charqui AFC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Benigno Nahia hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Osvaldo Domiku managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Atlético Lanus's supporters rose to their feet, but Osvaldo Domiku was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paolo Vigil breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Osvaldo Domiku's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paolo Vigil read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. After 75 minutes, Dionisio Vachon mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Atlético Lanus and the Charqui AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Charqui AFC booed when Club Atlético Lanus was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dionisio Vachon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Blas George took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Flavio Rodas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Osvaldo Domiku in the 81stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Paolo Vigil, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Osvaldo Domiku received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Paolo Vigil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Candido Ralondo during the 88th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Club Atlético Lanus booed when Charqui AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Candido Ralondo didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Samuel Ortzi fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Charqui AFC's protests and gave Samuel Ortzi a yellow card for diving instead. Samuel Ortzi hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. A collision led to Club Atlético Lanus getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Sergio Bidari hit a great ball. The Charqui AFC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Club Atlético Lanus were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
