Spectators: 6657 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1657, VIP seats: 0) Mauro Guillerme started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Iker Aires showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mauro Guillerme in the 14th minute of the match. Santos Loco hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Mauro Guillerme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Santiago Ipar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 27 minutes into the game, Chapechú's Gilberto Frisco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Silverio Rosario made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Gilberto Frisco took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Silverio Rosario. Silverio Rosario dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 43rd minute, Chapechú's Abelardo Lordi dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. Chapechú's Iker Aires played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauro Guillerme in the 46th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Abelardo Lordi to make the kick off. A collision led to HURACAN getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Ezequiel Chano hit a great ball. Silverio Rosario showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilberto Frisco, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauro Guillerme in the 61st minute of play forced Chapechú's goalkeeper Iker Aires to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Abelardo Lordi came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Chapechú fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abelardo Lordi couldn't finish the play. Santiago Ipar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Iker Aires tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 71st minute Mauro Guillerme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iker Aires saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Santiago Ipar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gilberto Frisco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Chapechú's Florencio Santana got a free kick in the 80th minute. Santiago Ipar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Iker Aires tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Santiago Ipar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iker Aires having to interfere. The referee felt a red card was in order, 93 minutes into the game, when Geronimo Txurio put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Chapechú fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 93rd minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 96 minutes, HURACAN's Godofredo Semeno got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Iker Aires. In the 99th minute, Mauro Guillerme got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Chapechú fans cheered their team off the field, for while HURACAN had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
