Spectators: 6673 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 0) When Marco Montes came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the MTLL fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marco Montes couldn't finish the play. After 9 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Paredones FC! 15 minutes into the match, MTLL's goal looked a bit too open when Vladimiro Confesor came free, but Mariano Calvet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vladimiro Confesor in the 18th minute of play forced MTLL's goalkeeper Mariano Calvet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. MTLL's Mariano Calvet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vladimiro Confesor in the 21st minute of play. After 24 minutes, Rodolfo Markel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Paredones FC and the MTLL players grew even worse after the yellow card. Feliciano Pelagius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mariano Calvet having to interfere. Ubaldo Chuse hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Vladimiro Confesor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Mariano Calvet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vladimiro Confesor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mariano Calvet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vladimiro Confesor, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. In the 45th minute, Feliciano Pelagius got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Paredones FC's Vladimiro Confesor got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vladimiro Confesor stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alberto Galo's late challenge caught a Paredones FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alberto Galo helped the player get up and apologised. After 53 played minutes MTLL got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Galo. The crowd rose to their feet as Paredones FC's Vladimiro Confesor slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mariano Calvet. That made the score 1-1 after 57 minutes of play. Joaquin Afonso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mariano Calvet having to interfere. In the 66th minute, one of MTLL:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for MTLL. Mariano Calvet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filiberto Vidal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Feliciano Pelagius came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Paredones FC fans jumped to their feet. In the 75th play minute Feliciano Pelagius came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Mariano Calvet. 1-2. In the 78th minute, Marciano Palben hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mariano Calvet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vladimiro Confesor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Marco Montes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vladimiro Confesor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Feliciano Pelagius's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mariano Calvet read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. A hard shot 90 in the game by Feliciano Pelagius from a close distance when the talented Mariano Calvet managed to make a qualified save. MTLL's players were relieved. Vladimiro Confesor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Feliciano Pelagius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
