Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Fabricio Isusko got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute, Ernesto Liher got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Salto's Paulino Ferman got a free kick in the 3rd minute. When Bernardo Panpili fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Salto's protests and gave Bernardo Panpili a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Salto getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Bernardo Panpili hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Salto's Fabricio Isusko slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Arnulfo Lizar. That made the score 1-0 after 10 minutes of play. In the 18th minute, Cornelio Salamon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zeledon Astudillo kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Elvio Frisco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Jerold in the 25th minute of play. In the 26th minute, Niceto Ibon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 29th minute of the match Emiliano Barrionuevo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arnulfo Lizar skillfully saved the ball. After a rather tough play, Carrizales's Higinio Txanton got a free kick in the 31st minute. Laureano Gamus in the 32ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Arnulfo Lizar, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Arnulfo Lizar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabricio Isusko in the 34th minute of play. Laureano Gamus could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Arnulfo Lizar made a huge save. Laureano Gamus hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Fabricio Isusko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Arnulfo Lizar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Laureano Gamus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnulfo Lizar having to interfere.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emanuel Jerold made a kick off. Emanuel Jerold recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zeledon Astudillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Elvio Frisco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carrizales's Arnulfo Lizar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabricio Isusko in the 59th minute of play. Arnulfo Lizar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laureano Gamus in the 62nd minute of play. 3-0 became the score in the 63rd minute when Laureano Gamus elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. A collision led to Salto getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Paulino Ferman hit a great ball. Fabricio Isusko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Arnulfo Lizar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bernardo Panpili was shown his second yellow card after 71 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Bernardo Panpili hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Arnulfo Lizar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laureano Gamus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arnulfo Lizar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lisandro Cidro in the 78th minute of play. When Salto's Laureano Gamus in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Carrizales's goalie prevented a goal. After 82 played minutes Salto got a freekick which was hit by Fabricio Isusko. Laureano Gamus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fabricio Isusko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnulfo Lizar having to interfere. Arnulfo Lizar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laureano Gamus in the 95th minute of play. Salto walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
