In the 3rd minute, one of Ferré:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ferré. Jeremias Valentine stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Salvador Belmiro's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. In the 17th minute, Salvador Belmiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carolo Lehoi during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Carolo Lehoi kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. In the 21st minute of the match, Salvador Belmiro tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jeremias Valentine saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 28th minute Salvador Belmiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremias Valentine saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Rodolfo Padro came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Ferré fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rodolfo Padro couldn't finish the play. Adolfo Belo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Salvador Belmiro in the 36th minute of play forced Los Quemeros's goalkeeper Jeremias Valentine to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adolfo Belo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximino Pio in the 41st minute of play forced Ferré's goalkeeper Freddy Pueblo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adolfo Belo struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Freddy Pueblo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Quemeros. Adolfo Belo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Freddy Pueblo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Los Quemeros's Jeremias Valentine proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save Los Quemeros from getting a goal against them. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adolfo Belo to make the kick off. 60 minutes into the game, Elias Barto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Los Quemeros's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ferré the free kick. 71 minutes into the match, Los Quemeros's goal looked a bit too open when Rodolfo Padro came free, but Jeremias Valentine reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jeremias Valentine took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodolfo Padro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Salvador Belmiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeremias Valentine having to interfere. 79 minutes into the match, Los Quemeros's goal looked a bit too open when Salvador Belmiro came free, but Jeremias Valentine reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Salvador Belmiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ferré's supporters rose to their feet, but Salvador Belmiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jeremias Valentine breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Rodolfo Padro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jonathan Sergi struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Jeremias Valentine didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ferré. Los Quemeros's Jeremias Valentine played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Salvador Belmiro in the 95th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Salvador Belmiro in the 99th minute of play forced Los Quemeros's goalkeeper Jeremias Valentine to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jeremias Valentine came out of the goal in the 100th minute to try and stop a shot by Ferré's Salvador Belmiro. But to his dismay, Salvador Belmiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2.
