Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Marcelo Admon got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute, Mauro Ishmael hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mauro Ishmael took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 11th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Teobaldo Goiz. Tigre's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ariel Bernad took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dalmacio Franco. Dalmacio Franco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After a rather tough play, Cacheuta AFC's Amancio Virila got a free kick in the 17th minute. Dalmacio Franco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fausto Cidro in the 20th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the game, David Abancens was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cacheuta AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tigre the free kick. After 21 played minutes Cacheuta AFC got a freekick which was hit by David Abancens. 24 minutes into the match, Cacheuta AFC's goalkeeper Dalmacio Franco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ariel Bernad. Ariel Bernad came free with the goalkeeper in the 26th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Dalmacio Franco could save by the left post. In the 28th minute, David Abancens got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fausto Cidro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dalmacio Franco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. Dalmacio Franco made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Ariel Bernad sent off a good shot on target. Tigre's Humberto Pedroso suffered a sore thigh after 41 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Amancio Virila's late challenge caught a Tigre's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Amancio Virila helped the player get up and apologised. Amancio Virila hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cacheuta AFC's goalkeeper Dalmacio Franco, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ariel Bernad blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dalmacio Franco having to make a save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ariel Bernad stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fausto Cidro during the 52nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Marcelo Admon hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. In the 54th match minute, Tigre was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Timoteo Eutropio to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Ariel Bernad managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tigre's supporters rose to their feet, but Ariel Bernad was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dalmacio Franco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 59th minute Ariel Bernad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dalmacio Franco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 72nd match minute, Cacheuta AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabio Tabor to maneuver through the defense. 73 minutes into the match, Tigre's Joel Nesto broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bruno Ramos during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When the match clock showed 89 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Ariel Bernad sped through Cacheuta AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dalmacio Franco. 92 minutes into the game, Ariel Bernad cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Dalmacio Franco was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of Cacheuta AFC booed when Tigre was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fausto Cidro didn't get a good kick on the ball. There was no doubt that Tigre were the better team. Tigre's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
