A very good chance for a goal. 7 minutes into the match, Bowen FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fulgencio Lauro came free, but Filomeno Viviano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 7th minute, Gervasio Polo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Ildefonso Eguen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fulgencio Lauro during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 14 played minutes Muñoz got a freekick which was hit by Fulgencio Lauro. Filomeno Viviano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ildefonso Eguen in the 16th minute. 26 minutes into the match, Nunez Chago notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Muñoz's Virgilio Eguzki. Virgilio Eguzki was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 29 minutes into the match, Bowen FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fulgencio Lauro came free, but Filomeno Viviano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Virgilio Eguzki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nunez Chago in the 40th minute of the match. 42 minutes into the match, Muñoz's Ildefonso Eguen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Filomeno Viviano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 45 minutes of play, Bowen FC's Eduardo Edwardo made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Virgilio Eguzki was left in no man's land by his defense there! Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Fulgencio Lauro made the kick off in the second half. Fulgencio Lauro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Filomeno Viviano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Muñoz's Ildefonso Eguen got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fulgencio Lauro struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Filomeno Viviano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Muñoz. 59 minutes into the match, Bowen FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ildefonso Eguen came free, but Filomeno Viviano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Muñoz's Ildefonso Eguen got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ildefonso Eguen struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Bowen FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Bowen FC's zone, Ildefonso Eguen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Filomeno Viviano came out of the goal and Ildefonso Eguen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fulgencio Lauro struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Filomeno Viviano didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Muñoz. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Muñoz lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
