Constantino Eron came out of the goal and Horacio Eder tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Horacio Eder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 12 minutes into the match, Maximo Artal notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Basail FC's Placido Indalecio. Placido Indalecio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Horacio Eder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Placido Indalecio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomás Romo in the 24th minute of the match. The supporters of Susto booed when Basail FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Melchor Ticho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomás Romo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Placido Indalecio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 34 minutes into the game, Susto's Tomás Romo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Placido Indalecio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Tomás Romo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Tomás Romo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomás Romo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Placido Indalecio having to make a save. Tomás Romo struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Placido Indalecio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Susto. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Melchor Ticho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 71 minutes, Tomás Romo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Susto's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomás Romo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Efrain Oton charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Efrain Oton the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 73rd match minute, Basail FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Efrain Oton to maneuver through the defense. Placido Indalecio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximo Artal, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Melchor Ticho in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Constantino Eron prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Maximo Artal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Placido Indalecio having to interfere. If Maximo Artal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 92 minutes into the game, Maximo Artal lined in a short shot 0-4 behind a frustrated Placido Indalecio.
