Spectators: 6500 (Terracing: 5125, Seating: 1345, VIP seats: 30) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Leandro Claris kicked off to start the match. The supporters of Saladillo booed when A.A.Estudiantes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnulfo Goito didn't get a good kick on the ball. 8 minutes into the match, A.A.Estudiantes's goalkeeper Vinicio Cesario had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pascual Chan. After a rather tough play, A.A.Estudiantes's Froilan Furman got a free kick in the 8th minute. Vinicio Cesario made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pascual Chan in the 10th minute of play. Arkadiusz Bartoszek's late challenge caught a Saladillo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arkadiusz Bartoszek helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, A.A.Estudiantes's Arkadiusz Bartoszek got a free kick in the 12th minute. Edgardo Ruy hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. The supporters of Saladillo booed when A.A.Estudiantes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Laurynas Barauskas didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Saladillo's Joaquin Dolcet got a free kick in the 21st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Octavio Viator in the 25th minute of play forced Saladillo's goalkeeper Godofredo Quinton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leandro Claris fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vinicio Cesario having to interfere. After 30 played minutes A.A.Estudiantes got a freekick which was hit by Edgardo Ruy. Godofredo Quinton didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Octavio Viator went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 42nd minute, Saladillo's Pascual Chan dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. After a rather tough play, A.A.Estudiantes's Edgardo Ruy got a free kick in the 44th minute. After the first half A.A.Estudiantes were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 53rd minute, Octavio Viator got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Joaquin Dolcet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A nice corner shot did that Edgardo Ruy got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Godofredo Quinton quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 80th minute, Pascual Chan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Saladillo's Leandro Claris got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pascual Chan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Olaf Sliwinski's late challenge caught a Saladillo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Olaf Sliwinski helped the player get up and apologised. Olaf Sliwinski hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Leandro Claris sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Saladillo lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
