Spectators: 7002 (Terracing: 5452, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 50) 11 minutes into the match, A.A.Estudiantes's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Pacorro came free, but Vinicio Cesario reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 14 minutes into the game, one of A.A.Estudiantes:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Vinicio Cesario went to the wrong direction when Wilfredo Frisco was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. In the 19th minute, Arnulfo Goito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edgardo Ruy recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Octavio Viator got free with Jacobo Corderro in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vinicio Cesario showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Pacorro in the 28th minute of the match. Edgardo Ruy might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jacobo Corderro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edgardo Ruy ran back to his position shaking his head. Jacobo Corderro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgardo Ruy in the 30th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armando Eufrasio in the 31st minute of play forced A.A.Estudiantes's goalkeeper Vinicio Cesario to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Octavio Viator came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the A.A.Estudiantes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Octavio Viator couldn't finish the play. Octavio Viator fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacobo Corderro having to interfere. After 47 minutes of play, Carnerillo AFC's Cristian Pacorro made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vinicio Cesario was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

If Edgardo Ruy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 59th minute, Edgardo Ruy got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Carnerillo AFC's zone, Edgardo Ruy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacobo Corderro came out of the goal and Edgardo Ruy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Filomeno Baudelio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Octavio Viator had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Octavio Viator received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Jacobo Corderro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 79 minutes into the match, Filomeno Baudelio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jacobo Corderro. Carnerillo AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Filomeno Baudelio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Filomeno Baudelio hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Arnulfo Goito kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Octavio Viator in the 97th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jacobo Corderro prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
