Marcial Rolado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvano Astrada having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Ferro Carril Oeste's zone, Marcial Rolado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silvano Astrada came out of the goal and Marcial Rolado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Silvano Astrada took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gavino Ramirez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gavino Ramirez might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Silvano Astrada. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gavino Ramirez ran back to his position shaking his head. Marcial Rolado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Silvano Astrada having to interfere. Rodrolina FC's Gavino Ramirez got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

Ferro Carril Oeste's Silvano Astrada proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Ferro Carril Oeste from getting a goal against them. 53 minutes into the match, Ferro Carril Oeste's goal looked a bit too open when Marcial Rolado came free, but Silvano Astrada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mateo Reyes kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Marcial Rolado's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Silvano Astrada read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. After having played for 59 minutes, Rosendo Polentzi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ferro Carril Oeste's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rosendo Polentzi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gavino Ramirez might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Silvano Astrada. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gavino Ramirez ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 68th minute, Luisito Silvanito had to leave the field with a concussion. Nicanor Domenec charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nicanor Domenec the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Rodrolina FC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Nicanor Domenec hit a great ball. In the 75th minute, Marcial Rolado got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the last second Silvano Astrada throw himself and got hold of the ball when Marcial Rolado in the 77thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Silvano Astrada showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcial Rolado in the 82nd minute of the match. In the 88th minute, Gavino Ramirez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 90th minute Marcial Rolado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvano Astrada saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mateo Reyes during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Ferro Carril Oeste's Mateo Reyes got a free kick in the 96th minute. The Ferro Carril Oeste supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Rodrolina FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Rodrolina FC.
