The audience held their breath when Gogo Beti in the 21st minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Jose Urtun's left hand side. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Carrodilla FC's goalkeeper Jose Urtun, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 27th match minute, Carrodilla FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximo Quintin to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Leonides Panpili in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jose Urtun saved Carrodilla FC from getting behind. Leonides Panpili received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Jose Urtun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 48 minutes, Leonides Panpili managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Argentino de Merlo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leonides Panpili was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Carrodilla FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Argentino de Merlo were winning 0-1.

When the match had gone on for 52 minutes, Fabricio Juvenal took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Jose Urtun to make any attempt to save it. Fabricio Juvenal succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-3 in the 59th playminute. 63 minutes into the match, Argentino de Merlo's Leonides Panpili sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jose Urtun narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fabricio Juvenal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leonides Panpili could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Jose Urtun made a huge save. In the 75th minute, Leonides Panpili got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jose Urtun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramiro Godoy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tomás Oso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Fausto Garin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Orlando Playo during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When Fabricio Juvenal came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Argentino de Merlo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabricio Juvenal couldn't finish the play. 88 minutes into the match, Carrodilla FC's goalkeeper Jose Urtun had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leonides Panpili.
