Spectators: 6827 (Terracing: 5433, Seating: 1250, VIP seats: 144) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cleto Patrido started the match with the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marco Emenon got free with Teobaldo Lekubegi in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Deportivo Racing club getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Saverio Lizbeth hit a great ball. Deportivo Racing club's Leonel Sendoa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaston Dalmai in the 9th minute of play. In the 11th minute, Arnaldo Chucho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Julian Lizer took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Teobaldo Lekubegi. Teobaldo Lekubegi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Cortita y al Pié FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 22nd minute, when Jose Iyan scored to the left of an out of position Teobaldo Lekubegi, making the score, 2-0. When Deportivo Racing club's Arnaldo Chucho in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cortita y al Pié FC's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cleto Patrido in the 29th minute of play forced Deportivo Racing club's goalkeeper Leonel Sendoa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julian Policarpio hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Arnaldo Chucho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teobaldo Lekubegi having to interfere. With a little luck, Cortita y al Pié FC's Teobaldo Lekubegi got control of the ball when Julian Lizer tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Fabio Olivar fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cortita y al Pié FC's protests and gave Fabio Olivar a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Cortita y al Pié FC's Fabio Olivar got a free kick in the 39th minute. Teobaldo Lekubegi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnaldo Chucho in the 44th minute of play. If Arnaldo Chucho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arnaldo Chucho to strike the kick off in the second half. Julian Lizer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Julian Lizer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 56th match minute, Cortita y al Pié FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnulfo Libertad to maneuver through the defense. When Julian Lizer came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Deportivo Racing club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Julian Lizer couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Arnaldo Chucho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo Racing club's supporters rose to their feet, but Arnaldo Chucho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Teobaldo Lekubegi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Cortita y al Pié FC defense, Arnaldo Chucho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Teobaldo Lekubegi. The Cortita y al Pié FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Teobaldo Lekubegi should have stopped the shot. Through an outstanding action, after 85 minutes, Leonel Sendoa successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. If Gaston Dalmai had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
