Enrique Solustiano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cosme Hibai having to interfere. In the 31st minute Anselmo Pudes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Moises Miliano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 35th minute, Enrique Solustiano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 37 minutes, Uriel Lixandro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tomatito FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Uriel Lixandro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 38th minute of the match, Enrique Solustiano got a very nice opportunity to score, but Cosme Hibai was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. If Eustacio Eutropio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anselmo Pudes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anselmo Pudes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Tomatito FC booed when Ensuciantes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benito Jerico didn't get a good kick on the ball. Moises Miliano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anselmo Pudes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Moises Miliano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anselmo Pudes, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. After 66 played minutes Tomatito FC got a freekick which was hit by Gaspar Perrando. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Enrique Solustiano managed to get in a good position for a shot.
