Lucas Austin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Serafino Cordara in the 5th minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 10th minute by Ciriaco Rafel got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Adrian Banegas made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Ciriaco Rafel sent off a good shot on target. In the 13th minute, Aldo Sidoro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. atlas's Adrian Banegas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luciano Bartolome in the 16th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Luciano Bartolome managed to get in a good position for a shot. Joaquin Team's supporters rose to their feet, but Luciano Bartolome was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adrian Banegas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Godfredo Claris hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. In the 29th minute Serafino Cordara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucas Austin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joaquin Team's Ciriaco Rafel got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luciano Bartolome received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Adrian Banegas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rafael Celipe's late challenge caught a Joaquin Team's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rafael Celipe helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, atlas's Rafael Celipe got a free kick in the 44th minute. Ciriaco Rafel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Adrian Banegas having to make a save. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Serafino Cordara made the kick off in the second half. Isaac Barrionuevo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Lucas Austin made a huge save. 62 minutes into the match, atlas's goal looked a bit too open when Luciano Bartolome came free, but Adrian Banegas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joaquin Team's Lucas Austin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serafino Cordara in the 66th minute of play. If Ciriaco Rafel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. atlas's Isaac Barrionuevo got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 75 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Joaquin Team! Isaac Barrionuevo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucas Austin having to interfere. Isaac Barrionuevo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lucas Austin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Serafino Cordara's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. Sebastian Pueblo hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. After 91 minutes atlas's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Raimundo Gartxot who took care of the corner kick. In the 96th minute, Isaac Barrionuevo reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Lucas Austin. The goal made the score 1-3. atlas played a much better game than Joaquin Team and deserved their victory. The Joaquin Team players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
