Fabio Leocadio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eustacio Baraquiel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Esteve Faron in the 15th minute. In the 19th minute Desiderio Etxeberri shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Pabla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 21st minute, Desiderio Etxeberri left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dionisia FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Esteve Faron in the 33rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Esteve Faron could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Eustacio Baraquiel made a huge save. After 35 minutes, Bernardo Misael mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dionisia FC and the Matafueguistas players grew even worse after the yellow card. The wind increased when Ernesto Ieltxu made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Matafueguistas's Esteve Faron sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eustacio Baraquiel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 56 minutes of play, Dionisia FC's Desiderio Etxeberri made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ivan Pabla was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 66th minute Ernesto Ieltxu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eustacio Baraquiel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 69th minute, one of Dionisia FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Dionisia FC. The referee gave Matafueguistas a penalty, 71 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Conrado Marques, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Dionisia FC's Eustacio Baraquiel. 1-3. After 74 minutes, Christian Gorosti mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Matafueguistas and the Dionisia FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 74 played minutes Matafueguistas got a freekick which was hit by Christian Gorosti. Ivan Pabla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Desiderio Etxeberri, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Desiderio Etxeberri took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ivan Pabla. Ivan Pabla dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. Dionisia FC's Eustacio Baraquiel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernesto Ieltxu in the 83rd minute of play. Desiderio Etxeberri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Dionisia FC booed when Matafueguistas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciriaco Gartzen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ivan Pabla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Desiderio Etxeberri in the 90th minute of play. If Desiderio Etxeberri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabio Leocadio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Maximo Eleder fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Matafueguistas's protests and gave Maximo Eleder a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Dionisia FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
