Fabio Leocadios short, quick shot in the 10thth minute got Apolo Medina to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 12th minute, Ceferino Rameriz made a precise shot to the right of Eustacio Baraquiel. Dionisia FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 18 minutes into the game, Rogelio Sanson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Camilleros FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dionisia FC the free kick. Apolo Medina made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fabio Leocadio in the 20th minute. In the 27th minute, Fabio Leocadio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dionisia FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 32nd minute of the match Jesus Paio sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Apolo Medina skillfully saved the ball. If Ceferino Rameriz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Apolo Medina came out of the goal in the 40th minute to try and stop a shot by Dionisia FC's Fabio Leocadio. But to his dismay, Fabio Leocadio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. An unexpected shot in the 47th minute by Fabio Leocadio got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

In the 60th minute Ceferino Rameriz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eustacio Baraquiel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Delmiro Perrando during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Dionisia FC booed when Camilleros FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Delmiro Perrando didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 78th match minute, Dionisia FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mauricio Fiz to maneuver through the defense. 83 minutes into the match, Dionisia FC's goalkeeper Eustacio Baraquiel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ivan Rosario. 85 minutes into the match, Desiderio Etxeberri notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Camilleros FC's Apolo Medina. Apolo Medina was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Fabio Leocadio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arnulfo Dimo's late challenge caught a Camilleros FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arnulfo Dimo helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Dionisia FC's Arnulfo Dimo got a free kick in the 92nd minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Dionisia FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Camilleros FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
