The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 7th minute of the game. One of Salsedo:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Alter Ego:s goal. The referee gave Alter Ego a penalty, 9 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Sebastian Evarado, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Salsedo's Atilano Iraido. 0-1. Atilano Iraido made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carmelo Roano in the 16th minute of play. Baldomiro Farias's late challenge caught a Alter Ego's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Baldomiro Farias helped the player get up and apologised. Baldomiro Farias hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. If Rene Jerrald had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 26 played minutes Salsedo got a freekick which was hit by Benedicto Fanuco. Rene Jerrald blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Melchor Millan having to make a save. Guido Liher sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Guido Liher came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Salsedo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guido Liher couldn't finish the play. When Ceferino Urbes fell near the penalty area in the 40th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alter Ego's protests and gave Ceferino Urbes a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Alter Ego's Ceferino Urbes got a free kick in the 40th minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

In the 54th minute Alter Ego were awarded a corner. Sebastian Evarado went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Alter Ego's corner Sebastian Evarado fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Atilano Iraido quite easily take care of the ball. 56 minutes into the game, Salsedo's Guido Liher nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Melchor Millan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Americo Bernard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Melchor Millan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rene Jerrald sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Amancio Quilo struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Atilano Iraido didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alter Ego. After 73 played minutes Salsedo got a freekick which was hit by Higinio Quinto. Salsedo's Americo Bernard got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Alter Ego getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Damaso Nel hit a great ball. Americo Bernard blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Melchor Millan having to make a save. Amancio Quilo succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-3 in the 89th playminute.
