If Fernando Formerio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 15 played minutes Atalaya AFC got a freekick which was hit by Andres Galindo. The audience thought a goal was coming when Everardo Cordarrel got free with Alonzo Rolado in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Atilano Eli hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fernando Formerio in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabricio Ibar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 26th minute, Everardo Cordarrel made a precise shot to the right of Alonzo Rolado. Trapiche's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Aaron Montrell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Alonzo Rolado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Atalaya AFC getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Everardo Fe hit a great ball. Fabricio Ibar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauricio Gomesano, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. 46 minutes into the match, Atalaya AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Formerio came free, but Fabricio Ibar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aaron Montrell made a kick off. Fabricio Ibar made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Mauricio Gomesano sent off a good shot on target. Everardo Cordarrel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 59th minute, Feliciano Gitano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Atalaya AFC's Leonardo Nabar tried to score from far away in the 60th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Trapiche's Alonzo Rolado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Everardo Cordarrel in the 63rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Trapiche's Saturnino Eleder got a free kick in the 67th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Feliberto Bingen during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Trapiche getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Feliberto Bingen hit a great ball. Alonzo Rolado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aaron Montrell in the 72nd minute of the match. Alonzo Rolado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Everardo Cordarrel, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Alonzo Rolado stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Everardo Cordarrel's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. 80 minutes into the match, Atalaya AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Formerio came free, but Fabricio Ibar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Trapiche's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Atalaya AFC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
