An unexpectedly hard shot by Everardo Cordarrel in the 4th minute of play forced Salsedo's goalkeeper Atilano Iraido to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Atalaya AFC defense, Rene Jerrald kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fabricio Ibar. The Atalaya AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fabricio Ibar should have stopped the shot. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Fabricio Ibar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 95th minute, Rene Jerrald made a precise shot to the right of Fabricio Ibar. Atalaya AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Salsedo walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
