Hornillos AFC's Damian Milio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Hornillos AFC from getting a goal against them. Marcelino Balesio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Damian Milio made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bartolo Illart in the 19th minute of play forced Ferré's goalkeeper Ildefonso Cordarell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ildefonso Cordarell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bartolo Illart in the 22nd minute of the match. Bartolo Illart sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Damian Milio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcelino Balesio in the 30th minute. The supporters of Hornillos AFC booed when Ferré was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvio Flores didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Ferré's zone, Bartolo Illart stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ildefonso Cordarell came out of the goal and Bartolo Illart tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Damian Milio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silvio Flores, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Damian Milio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvio Flores in the 43rd minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Amadeo Cheche hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Damian Milio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelino Balesio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Hornillos AFC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Virgilio Santiago hit a great ball. In the 69th minute, Silvio Flores ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Damian Milio was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. After some careless play in the Hornillos AFC defense, Silvio Flores kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Damian Milio. The Hornillos AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Damian Milio should have stopped the shot. Virgilio Santiago was shown his second yellow card after 77 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Marcelino Balesio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Many of Hornillos AFC's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Hornillos AFC may have spent more time on the ball, but Ferré were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
