Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Domingo Chesus to make the kick off. Berros's Cornelio Franco got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cornelio Franco in the 56th minute of play forced Sabremos Cumplir's goalkeeper Robustiano Bermudez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 67 minutes into the match, Sabremos Cumplir's Carlos Frichoso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benito Romero narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gaspar Merexildo helped the player get up and apologised. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Anibal Ospetsu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Berros's supporters rose to their feet, but Anibal Ospetsu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
