Inocencio Walme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adan Otoniel having to interfere. Adan Otoniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Inocencio Walme in the 16th minute of play. If Inocencio Walme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Antonio Jax could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Adan Otoniel made a huge save. If Inocencio Walme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adan Otoniel was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Inocencio Walme showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 28 minute of play. Humberto Raymundo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damaso Erdiano in the 45th minute of the match. Damaso Erdiano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Humberto Raymundo having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Inocencio Walme's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adan Otoniel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. After having played for 56 minutes, Antonio Jax managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Luxcar F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antonio Jax was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Santiago del Estero F.C's zone, Antonio Jax stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adan Otoniel came out of the goal and Antonio Jax tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Antonio Jax managed to get in a good position for a shot. Luxcar F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Antonio Jax was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adan Otoniel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Adan Otoniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Inocencio Walme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 68 played minutes Luxcar F.C got a freekick which was hit by Alfonso Santikurtz. In the 71st minute, Simon Loco made a precise shot to the right of Humberto Raymundo. Luxcar F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. After 76 played minutes Santiago del Estero F.C got a freekick which was hit by Marcos Sotero. 78 minutes into the match, Simon Loco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Humberto Raymundo. Luxcar F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Simon Loco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Damaso Erdiano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eriberto Haritzeder hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. 90 minutes into the match, Iker Iyan sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Humberto Raymundo threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Iker Iyan this time. Damaso Erdiano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 93 minutes into the game, Ermegildo Vidal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Luxcar F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Santiago del Estero F.C the free kick. The supporters of Santiago del Estero F.C booed when Luxcar F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ermegildo Vidal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Santiago del Estero F.C succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Luxcar F.C had controlled the match.
