Spectators: 7343 (Terracing: 5509, Seating: 1689, VIP seats: 145) 3 minutes into the game, Norberto Rocendo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Los Fumones Esotericos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave destroyer the free kick. In the 5th minute, Norberto Rocendo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 6 minutes into the match, destroyer's Leonides Oroitz broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Eugenio Toro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Lixandro in the 8th minute of play. In the 12th match minute, Los Fumones Esotericos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Placido Cordero to maneuver through the defense. Prudencio Manni blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eugenio Toro having to make a save. In the 15th minute Julian Lixandro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eugenio Toro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Los Fumones Esotericos's zone, Julian Lixandro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eugenio Toro came out of the goal and Julian Lixandro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eugenio Toro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Lixandro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Los Fumones Esotericos's zone, Julian Lixandro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eugenio Toro came out of the goal and Julian Lixandro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Prudencio Manni struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Eugenio Toro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for destroyer. In the 31st minute, Julian Lixandro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eugenio Toro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Lixandro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Prudencio Manni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Eugenio Toro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 42nd match minute, Los Fumones Esotericos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Placido Cordero to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Los Fumones Esotericos's Oscar Ayala got a free kick in the 45th minute. destroyer's Prudencio Manni got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 48 minutes into the game, Prudencio Manni cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Eugenio Toro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Baldomero Torres made the kick off in the second half. Julian Lixandro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 64th minute, Los Fumones Esotericos's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Prudencio Manni fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 73 minutes into the match, Los Fumones Esotericos's goalkeeper Eugenio Toro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Prudencio Manni. destroyer's Danilo Panpili played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baldomero Torres in the 79th minute of play. Prudencio Manni received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Eugenio Toro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Prudencio Manni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugenio Toro having to interfere. Prudencio Manni recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 90th match minute, Los Fumones Esotericos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Placido Cordero to maneuver through the defense. Eugenio Toro came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by destroyer's Prudencio Manni. But to his dismay, Prudencio Manni quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Prudencio Manni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugenio Toro having to interfere. destroyer's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
