The supporters of Vautretto FC booed when Arequito FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dionisio Txilar didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Omar Jorrin fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vautretto FC's protests and gave Omar Jorrin a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Vautretto FC's Omar Jorrin got a free kick in the 4th minute. Hipolito Gonsalve took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elias Kaiet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Albano Ipar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Albano Ipar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hipolito Gonsalve read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. With a little luck, Arequito FC's Hipolito Gonsalve got control of the ball when Albano Ipar tried to sneak it across the goal line. Elias Kaiet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hipolito Gonsalve having to interfere. If Elias Kaiet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Elias Kaiet stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Arequito FC's Hipolito Gonsalve played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elias Kaiet in the 66th minute of play. After 70 played minutes Arequito FC got a freekick which was hit by Virgilio Herena. Silvestre Mincho struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Isidro Nuno didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arequito FC. Hipolito Gonsalve showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elias Kaiet in the 77th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elias Kaiet in the 79th minute of play forced Arequito FC's goalkeeper Hipolito Gonsalve to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 84 minutes into the game, Elias Kaiet cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Hipolito Gonsalve was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Albano Ipar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vautretto FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Albano Ipar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hipolito Gonsalve breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Arequito FC's Abel Austin got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Vautretto FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
