Spectators: 6661 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1661, VIP seats: 0) Atahona FC's Urbano Federigo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Donato Hibai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severo Pepillo in the 11th minute of the match. Atahona FC's Urbano Federigo managed to work through TISHA FC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Urbano Federigo dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. When the match clock showed 21 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Lucas Honrio sped through Atahona FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Donato Hibai. If Severo Pepillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ermegildo Kinsen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Jairo Senon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Donato Hibai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucas Honrio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Leonel Urbes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atahona FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Leonel Urbes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jairo Senon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Donato Hibai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucas Honrio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 47 minutes, Lucas Honrio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TISHA FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucas Honrio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lucas Honrio made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Severo Pepillo got free with Donato Hibai in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jairo Senon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ermegildo Kinsen in the 54th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in TISHA FC's zone, Urbano Federigo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jairo Senon came out of the goal and Urbano Federigo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jairo Senon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ermegildo Kinsen in the 62nd minute of play. TISHA FC's Severo Pepillo got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Donato Hibai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas Honrio in the 65th minute of play. Severo Pepillo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 78th minute, Ermegildo Kinsen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Atahona FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. If Severo Pepillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tadeo Corderall kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. When Wilfredo Sugar fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored TISHA FC's protests and gave Wilfredo Sugar a yellow card for diving instead. In the 89th match minute, TISHA FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilfredo Sugar to maneuver through the defense. After 94 played minutes Atahona FC got a freekick which was hit by Nestor Illart. Donato Hibai was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Marcos Napier. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
