After 10 played minutes Atlético Locortes got a freekick which was hit by Horacio Arias. Leo Balendin took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 11th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lisandro Herensuge. Atlético Locortes's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 12th minute Teodosio Bartuelo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lisandro Herensuge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Atlético Locortes's Lisandro Herensuge played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Froilan Remir in the 19th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Rusticos FC's zone, Fulgencio Machado stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hipolito Misael came out of the goal and Fulgencio Machado tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Amancio Santiago during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 33 played minutes Rusticos FC got a freekick which was hit by Amancio Santiago. After 44 minutes, Alberto Tartalo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rusticos FC and the Atlético Locortes players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 46th minute Cleto Hermon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hipolito Misael saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Froilan Remir stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Froilan Remir struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Lisandro Herensuge didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rusticos FC. When Cayetano Ciceron fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atlético Locortes's protests and gave Cayetano Ciceron a yellow card for diving instead. After 54 played minutes Atlético Locortes got a freekick which was hit by Cayetano Ciceron. After 55 played minutes, Rusticos FC's Leo Balendin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Lisandro Herensuge came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Rusticos FC reached it. 56 minutes into the match, Atlético Locortes's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tartalo came free, but Lisandro Herensuge reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Tartalo in the 58th minute of play forced Atlético Locortes's goalkeeper Lisandro Herensuge to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alberto Tartalo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Lisandro Herensuge tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alberto Tartalo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lisandro Herensuge having to interfere. Cleto Hermon scored 0-2 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hipolito Misael, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fulgencio Machado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 79th match minute, Atlético Locortes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angelo Mingo to maneuver through the defense. Rusticos FC's Alberto Tartalo got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alberto Tartalo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lisandro Herensuge having to interfere. In the 86thth minute of the game Teodosio Bartuelo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Atlético Locortes's Lisandro Herensuge was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, Rusticos FC's Hipolito Misael got control of the ball when Cleto Hermon tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Atlético Locortes's zone, Alberto Tartalo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lisandro Herensuge came out of the goal and Alberto Tartalo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 94 played minutes Atlético Locortes got a freekick which was hit by Angelo Mingo. Atlético Locortes were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Rusticos FC's much stronger midfield.
