The audience was convinced that Vicente Ikatz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Christian Oroitz was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. Christian Oroitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vicente Ikatz in the 9th minute of the match. Higinio Jakobe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Samuel Vellito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 13 minutes into the game, Amado Ricart was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Barcala FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chatran FC the free kick. In the 13th match minute, Barcala FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amado Ricart to maneuver through the defense. Amadeo Cibran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Higinio Jakobe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 18 minutes of play Barcala FC's Amado Ricart was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Chatran FC booed when Barcala FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amado Ricart didn't get a good kick on the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Higinio Jakobe had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Samuel Vellito. Barcala FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Higinio Jakobe was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After 23 played minutes Chatran FC got a freekick which was hit by Amador Jerico. Higinio Jakobe blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Samuel Vellito having to make a save. Vicente Ikatz kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Samuel Vellito stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Amadeo Cibran's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. Higinio Jakobe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samuel Vellito having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anibal Olentzaro in the 31st minute of play forced Chatran FC's goalkeeper Christian Oroitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Christian Oroitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anibal Olentzaro in the 34th minute of play. Higinio Jakobe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Barcala FC's Benicio Nuxila got a free kick in the 46th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Barcala FC's Samuel Vellito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amadeo Cibran in the 52nd minute of play. When Vicente Ikatz fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Barcala FC's protests and gave Vicente Ikatz a yellow card for diving instead. Vicente Ikatz hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Higinio Jakobe blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Samuel Vellito having to make a save. In the 62nd minute, Higinio Jakobe made a precise shot to the right of Samuel Vellito. Barcala FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Christian Oroitz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anibal Olentzaro in the 68th minute. Amadeo Cibran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute.
