Oliva's supporters rose to their feet, but Enrique Abalos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christian Oroitz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Clodoveo Etxekopar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Higinio Jakobe in the 33rd minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Amadeo Cibran to strike the kick off in the second half. Christian Oroitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marciano Aurken, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Primitivo Asier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 79th minute Amadeo Cibran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clodoveo Etxekopar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 84 minutes into the match, Oliva's goal looked a bit too open when Amador Jerico came free, but Clodoveo Etxekopar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 86th minute, Chatran FC's Amadeo Cibran dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. Enrique Abalos didn't quite understand what happened when in the 92 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Marciano Aurken recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Oliva lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
