Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mariano Ireno in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Prudencio Damario prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Calmucó's Prudencio Damario played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Ireno in the 15th minute of play. Club Ferro Carril Oeste's Godofredo Goyo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Club Ferro Carril Oeste from getting a goal against them. If Alvaro Cibran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28th minute, Alvaro Cibran got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 30 played minutes Club Ferro Carril Oeste got a freekick which was hit by Aldo Lluis. Gaspar Quintin, 30 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Aldo Lluis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prudencio Damario having to interfere. When Club Ferro Carril Oeste's Bernardino Chuse in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Alfredo Mel was slow to take the kick. During this time Club Ferro Carril Oeste's players had a chance to rest. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Saul Garaile made a kick off. 57 minutes into the match, Calmucó's goalkeeper Prudencio Damario had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bernardino Chuse. Godofredo Goyo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvaro Cibran in the 60th minute of play. When Alvaro Cibran came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Calmucó fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alvaro Cibran couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Club Ferro Carril Oeste getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Jacobo Atarratze hit a great ball. Mariano Ireno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Prudencio Damario tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 73 minutes of play, Calmucó's Alvaro Cibran made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Godofredo Goyo was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 77 played minutes Club Ferro Carril Oeste got a freekick which was hit by Alfredo Mel. It was beautiful to see Calmucó's Gaspar Quintin in action when he in the 79th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! 81 minutes into the match, Club Ferro Carril Oeste's goal looked a bit too open when Alvaro Cibran came free, but Godofredo Goyo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Godofredo Goyo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alvaro Cibran's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. When Saul Garaile came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Calmucó fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Saul Garaile couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Club Ferro Carril Oeste's Alfredo Donio got a free kick in the 92nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alvaro Cibran in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Godofredo Goyo saved Club Ferro Carril Oeste from getting behind. In the 96th minute, Bernardino Chuse made a precise shot to the right of Prudencio Damario. Calmucó's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
