After 18 played minutes Club Atlético Huracán got a freekick which was hit by Maximino Rio. Godfredo Honrio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 19th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Arsenio Uxio. Club Atlético Huracán's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When Ciriaco Baumer came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Huazihul FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ciriaco Baumer couldn't finish the play. Arsenio Uxio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ciriaco Baumer's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Jeremias Romo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rogelio Eufrasio having to interfere. Rogelio Eufrasio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Horacio Cisco in the 39th minute of play. Huazihul FC's Godfredo Honrio suffered a sore thigh after 44 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jeremias Romo during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jeremias Romo hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Rene Fagildo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Huazihul FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rene Fagildo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arsenio Uxio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Arsenio Uxio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rene Fagildo in the 55th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jeremias Romo in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rogelio Eufrasio saved Huazihul FC from getting behind. In the 81st minute, Niceto Fanuco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jeremias Romo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rogelio Eufrasio having to interfere. After 86 minutes of play, Club Atlético Huracán's Horacio Cisco made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rogelio Eufrasio was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Rene Fagildo came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Huazihul FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rene Fagildo couldn't finish the play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Club Atlético Huracán fans cheered their team off the field, for while Huazihul FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
