In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind PIRATAS CELESTES's goalkeeper Lorenzo Ortzi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ciro Nuñez charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ciro Nuñez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 27 played minutes PIRATAS CELESTES got a freekick which was hit by Ciro Nuñez. 36 minutes into the match, La Makina F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Gaudencio Harri came free, but Edgardo Rubio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edgardo Rubio made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Cristian Sengrat sent off a good shot on target. Dalmacio Ixona fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgardo Rubio having to interfere. After having played for 46 minutes, Cristian Sengrat managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PIRATAS CELESTES's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Sengrat was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gaudencio Harri was the one to do the kick off. La Makina F.C.'s Edgardo Rubio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sengrat in the 53rd minute of play. Cristian Sengrat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgardo Rubio having to interfere. In the 56th minute, Cristian Sengrat got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Edgardo Rubio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaudencio Harri, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Victor Sagrario could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Lorenzo Ortzi made a huge save. If Gaudencio Harri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jesus Celipe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Lorenzo Ortzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ciro Nuñez was shown his second yellow card after 82 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Victor Sagrario got free with Lorenzo Ortzi in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 95th play minute Victor Sagrario came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Lorenzo Ortzi. 1-2. La Makina F.C. were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over PIRATAS CELESTES's much stronger midfield.
