Horacio Cisco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Rodolfo Demesio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 16th minute, Paulino Txerran got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arsenio Uxio was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Serafin Gumaro showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 19 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Huracán's Jonatan Hartz got a free kick in the 41st minute. Palmitas's Inocencio Poncio got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Horacio Cisco to make the kick off. When Modesto Laurgain came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Palmitas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Modesto Laurgain couldn't finish the play. After 53 minutes, Joel Ostots mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Atlético Huracán and the Palmitas players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 53rd minute, Joel Ostots hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Serafin Gumaro struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Arsenio Uxio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Palmitas. Club Atlético Huracán's Arsenio Uxio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulino Txerran in the 97th minute of play. Palmitas's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
