Sportivo Abrevaya's Luciano Tino got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 35 minutes, Vinicio Remigio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PIRATAS CELESTES and the Sportivo Abrevaya players grew even worse after the yellow card. Vinicio Remigio hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Ernesto Gonzo scored 1-0 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lorenzo Ortzi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Sportivo Abrevaya's Amadeo Egoitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sengrat in the 46th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luciano Tino was the one to do the kick off. Lorenzo Ortzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luciano Tino, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Ezequiel Txaran's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lorenzo Ortzi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. Ezequiel Txaran charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ezequiel Txaran the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 87th minute, Ezequiel Txaran hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lorenzo Ortzi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernesto Gonzo in the 91st minute of the match.
