Edgardo Rubio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Paulino Txerran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paulino Txerran scored 0-2 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edgardo Rubio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fabio Quintin kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Victor Sagrario during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 30th match minute, La Makina F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victor Sagrario to maneuver through the defense. Edgardo Rubio came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Palmitas's Paulino Txerran. But to his dismay, Paulino Txerran quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. 36 minutes into the match, La Makina F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Paulino Txerran came free, but Edgardo Rubio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paulino Txerran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Serafin Gumaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Palmitas's Rodolfo Demesio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jesus Celipe in the 46th minute of play. The La Makina F.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Palmitas were winning 0-3.

In the 64th minute of the match Eugenio Segio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Edgardo Rubio showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Palmitas's Paulino Txerran got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in La Makina F.C.'s zone, Serafin Gumaro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgardo Rubio came out of the goal and Serafin Gumaro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Serafin Gumaro came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Palmitas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Serafin Gumaro couldn't finish the play. Edgardo Rubio was out of position in the 75 minute of play, and Paulino Txerran capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Paulino Txerran really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. Edgardo Rubio came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Palmitas's Serafin Gumaro. But to his dismay, Serafin Gumaro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6. Victor Sagrario received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Rodolfo Demesio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 86 minutes in the game, Paulino Txerran fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Edgardo Rubio having to interfere. Paulino Txerran got in the 95th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Edgardo Rubio handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar.
