Spectators: 7256 (Terracing: 5443, Seating: 1669, VIP seats: 144) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Maximino Dominguez took the kick off in the first half of the match. After having played for 2 minutes, Alfredo Francesco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. academia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfredo Francesco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, academia's Aureliano Pudes got control of the ball when Erasmo Natal tried to sneak it across the goal line. Christian Perutxo kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Ermegildo Donio, 6 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. If Erasmo Natal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aureliano Pudes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximino Dominguez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Despertador FC's Ermegildo Donio couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 15th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for academia. Aureliano Pudes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximino Dominguez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maximino Dominguez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Despertador FC booed when academia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christian Perutxo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Erasmo Natal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Aureliano Pudes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 32 minutes into the match, Despertador FC's Maximino Dominguez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aureliano Pudes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Maximino Dominguez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aureliano Pudes having to interfere. Alfredo Francesco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Sergio Truylos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sergio Truylos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredo Francesco in the 46th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Oscar Caitano to strike the kick off in the second half. Erasmo Natal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Aureliano Pudes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aureliano Pudes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximino Dominguez, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. After 62 minutes, Alfredo Francesco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the academia and the Despertador FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Alfredo Francesco kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. A collision led to academia getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Leandro Tabor hit a great ball. Ermegildo Donio was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 64th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After some careless play in the academia defense, Maximino Dominguez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aureliano Pudes. The academia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aureliano Pudes should have stopped the shot. Aureliano Pudes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximino Dominguez in the 70th minute of play. With a little luck, Despertador FC's Sergio Truylos got control of the ball when Oscar Caitano tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 82nd minute, academia's Oscar Caitano ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Sergio Truylos. Sergio Truylos yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. Christian Perutxo hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Aureliano Pudes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximino Dominguez in the 86th minute of the match. 88 minutes into the match, Maximino Dominguez had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aureliano Pudes. academia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Maximino Dominguez was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Aureliano Pudes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Maximino Dominguez's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. Erasmo Natal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Aureliano Pudes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Despertador FC had won after a very even match.
