Rosetti's Lino Hitzeder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oscar Caitano in the 5th minute of play. In the 6th match minute, academia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredo Francesco to maneuver through the defense. Luisito Astigar kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the match, Rosetti's Simon Sustrai sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aureliano Pudes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Simon Sustrai scored 0-1 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aureliano Pudes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpected shot in the 22nd minute by Alfredo Francesco got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 24 minutes into the match, Rosetti's goalkeeper Lino Hitzeder had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Leonides Lugo. With a little luck, Rosetti's Lino Hitzeder got control of the ball when Leonides Lugo tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Oscar Caitano fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored academia's protests and gave Oscar Caitano a yellow card for diving instead. In the 29th match minute, academia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oscar Caitano to maneuver through the defense. In the 30th match minute, academia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christian Perutxo to maneuver through the defense. Christian Perutxo hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Simon Sustrai took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aureliano Pudes. Aureliano Pudes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Aureliano Pudes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Simon Sustrai's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. 45 minutes into the match, academia's Alfredo Francesco sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lino Hitzeder narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Oscar Caitano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in academia's zone, Simon Sustrai stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aureliano Pudes came out of the goal and Simon Sustrai tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lino Hitzeder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oscar Caitano in the 59th minute of play. Oscar Caitano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Simon Sustrai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aureliano Pudes having to interfere. Simon Sustrai sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Aureliano Pudes managed to avoid a goal in the 87thth minute, when Rosetti's Simon Sustrai fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Alfredo Francesco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Lino Hitzeder tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Rosetti walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
