Spectators: 7225 (Terracing: 5420, Seating: 1662, VIP seats: 143) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Angelino Quintun got the match started through his kick off. 5 minutes into the match, Ermegildo Terciero notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Club Atlético River Grand's Esteve Ciceron. Esteve Ciceron was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Mascota's zone, Angelino Quintun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacinto Cordarin came out of the goal and Angelino Quintun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ermegildo Terciero took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Esteve Ciceron. Esteve Ciceron dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 17th match minute, Mascota was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Artemio Oidor to maneuver through the defense. Santos Hustaz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Esteve Ciceron tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 24th minute, Erasmo Elazar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Santos Hustaz in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Esteve Ciceron prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Santos Hustaz took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Esteve Ciceron. Esteve Ciceron dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Santos Hustaz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esteve Ciceron having to interfere. Jacinto Cordarin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelino Quintun in the 37th minute of play. Victoriano Txurio hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Santos Hustaz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Mascota's Erasmo Millan got a free kick in the 58th minute. After having played for 59 minutes, Angelino Quintun managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atlético River Grand's supporters crossed their fingers, but Angelino Quintun was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Conrado Gaizkine hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Club Atlético River Grand's Esteve Ciceron played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santos Hustaz in the 66th minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, Santos Hustaz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Esteve Ciceron. Club Atlético River Grand's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Santos Hustaz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. 5-1 became the score in the 71st minute when Santos Hustaz elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ermegildo Terciero in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Esteve Ciceron prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Roque Hanot kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. The audience held their breath when Aureliano Argoitz in the 78th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Esteve Ciceron's left hand side. Santos Hustaz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Esteve Ciceron having to make a save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Santos Hustaz in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Esteve Ciceron saved Club Atlético River Grand from getting behind. If Severino Ceandro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Mascota had won after a very even match.
