Gaspar Donio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santos Hustaz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mascota's Jacinto Cordarin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Mascota from getting a goal against them. 61 minutes into the game, Rene Fiz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mascota's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Diablos FC. the free kick. After a rather tough play, Diablos FC.'s Edgard Farias got a free kick in the 90th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Ermegildo Terciero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mascota's supporters rose to their feet, but Ermegildo Terciero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gaspar Donio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mascota's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
