Marco Evangelista sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cosme Lope made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ceferino Dacio in the 5th minute. If Segundo Erlantz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cosme Lope acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 12th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Osvaldo Arano. Segundo Erlantz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Vizcachani AFC booed when Sepultura was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osvaldo Arano didn't get a good kick on the ball. 33 minutes into the match, Vizcachani AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Segundo Erlantz came free, but Cosme Lope reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cosme Lope made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ceferino Gaizko in the 40th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Vizcachani AFC's zone, Segundo Erlantz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cosme Lope came out of the goal and Segundo Erlantz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Segundo Erlantz struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Cosme Lope didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sepultura. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ceferino Gaizko made a kick off. In the 53rd minute of the match Sepultura got a corner. Vizcachani AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Raimundo Izotz ran over to the corner to take the kick. Sepultura's Raimundo Izotz was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Cosme Lope in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 56th minute, Raimundo Izotz sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Vizcachani AFC's Cosme Lope didn't even have to move. In the 59thth minute of the game Ceferino Gaizko who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vizcachani AFC's Cosme Lope was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Eliseo Marcones recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ceferino Gaizko in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cosme Lope saved Vizcachani AFC from getting behind. Segundo Erlantz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Sepultura's Ceferino Gaizko in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Vizcachani AFC's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Vizcachani AFC's Dalmacio Barrionuevo got a free kick in the 73rd minute. In the 78th minute, Sepultura's Timoteo Guillelmus seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Timoteo Guillelmus the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Sepultura protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Timoteo Guillelmus had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The goalkeeper, Federico Fidencio, was totally fooled by Vizcachani AFC's Godfredo Eduino, who 79 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Segundo Erlantz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 85th minute, Marco Evangelista got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 92nd minute Segundo Erlantz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cosme Lope saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 92nd minute, Segundo Erlantz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sepultura fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. After 96 played minutes Sepultura got a freekick which was hit by Ceferino Dacio. Fidel Calvet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee ended the match the Sepultura players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
