Spectators: 7229 (Terracing: 5423, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Roque Feliz kicked off to start the match. Damian Estebe hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. After 4 minutes of play, F.C. Neptuno's Zeledon Urbez made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edgardo Gitano was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Roque Feliz in the 8th minute of play forced F.C. Neptuno's goalkeeper Rolando Karmel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Teo Urbasa came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the F.C. Neptuno fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teo Urbasa couldn't finish the play. In the 14th minute, Tomas Rufio made a precise shot to the right of Edgardo Gitano. El Gigante Rosarino's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 21st match minute, El Gigante Rosarino was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damian Estebe to maneuver through the defense. Zeledon Urbez spun around in front of the goal 22 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of El Gigante Rosarino's goal. 32 minutes into the match, F.C. Neptuno's goal looked a bit too open when Roque Feliz came free, but Rolando Karmel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 33 minutes, Tomas Rufio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. F.C. Neptuno's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Rufio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in El Gigante Rosarino's zone, Dionisio Sustrai stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgardo Gitano came out of the goal and Dionisio Sustrai tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leonides Gaxan kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. The long shot by Gaudencio Galindo in the 39th minute really tested Rolando Karmel's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Edgardo Gitano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Haroldo Ibon in the 41st minute of play. In the 42nd minute, Teo Urbasa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zeledon Urbez scored 0-3 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Edgardo Gitano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zeledon Urbez made a kick off. The supporters of F.C. Neptuno booed when El Gigante Rosarino was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaudencio Galindo didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Zeledon Urbez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edgardo Gitano was a little too slow when Teo Urbasa got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 59th minute. The score was now 0-4. Edgardo Gitano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teo Urbasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Zeledon Urbez who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 67thth minute tested the skills of Edgardo Gitano when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 72 minutes into the game, Teo Urbasa recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Edgardo Gitano. Teo Urbasa showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. In the 81st minute Ignacio Aragones shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Karmel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zeledon Urbez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgardo Gitano having to interfere. After having played for 86 minutes, Zeledon Urbez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. F.C. Neptuno's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zeledon Urbez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 88 minutes into the match, Tomas Rufio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edgardo Gitano. El Gigante Rosarino's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tomas Rufio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ignacio Aragones in the 93rd minute of play forced F.C. Neptuno's goalkeeper Rolando Karmel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 96th match minute, F.C. Neptuno was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isaias Sanduru to maneuver through the defense. In the 97th minute Gaudencio Galindo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rolando Karmel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The El Gigante Rosarino fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. F.C. Neptuno were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
