Andres Pacho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luis Polo having to interfere. Andres Pacho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sergio Domiku hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. In the 14th minute, Diego Salvator hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 14th minute of the match Robustiano Santiago shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luis Polo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 18 minutes into the match, Andres Pacho notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of ChachoMar's Luis Polo. Luis Polo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. ChachoMar's Luis Polo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andres Pacho in the 22nd minute of play. The supporters of Potenza F. C. booed when ChachoMar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Epifanio Terciero didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 31st minute of the match Robustiano Santiago shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luis Polo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Andres Pacho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luis Polo having to interfere. Andres Pacho scored 1-2 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luis Polo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Clemente Johans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gavino Eguzki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Luis Polo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sergio Domiku charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sergio Domiku the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to ChachoMar getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Sergio Domiku hit a great ball. Luis Polo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Andres Pacho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

When Hector Botello came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Potenza F. C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hector Botello couldn't finish the play. Potenza F. C.'s Hector Botello got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luis Polo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andres Pacho, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Luis Polo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Andres Pacho showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 61 minute of play. Filomeno Moise sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 71 minutes into the match, ChachoMar's goal looked a bit too open when Andres Pacho came free, but Luis Polo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Claudio Venerando took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Abelardo Garci. Abelardo Garci dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. Hector Botello recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leo Uxio was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 86 minutes into the match. The referee gave Potenza F. C. a penalty, 88 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Robustiano Santiago, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of ChachoMar's Luis Polo. 2-4.
