But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Silvio Jax couldn't finish the play. Jonathan Tiadoro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Maderas AFC getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Iker Oidor hit a great ball. If Camilo Enekoitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 41st minute, Jonas Conrao hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. David Barrionuevo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathan Tiadoro in the 42nd minute of play. Jonathan Tiadoro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but David Barrionuevo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Enzo Gonzales stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. David Barrionuevo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathan Tiadoro in the 60th minute of play. Jonathan Tiadoro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but David Barrionuevo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. Camilo Enekoitz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cleto Remicio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. Silvio Jax sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Cleto Remicio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Enzo Gonzales in the 81st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Maderas AFC's Iker Oidor got a free kick in the 84th minute. When Ismael Jobo fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Maderas AFC's protests and gave Ismael Jobo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 87th minute, one of Maderas AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Maderas AFC. 95 minutes into the match, Zanjitas's goal looked a bit too open when Jonathan Tiadoro came free, but David Barrionuevo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
