A collision led to Tevez F.C getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Rolando Baristo hit a great ball. Dante Martino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eulalio Ihazintu in the 14th minute of play. After 15 played minutes Atlético Corrientes got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Pirro. Atlético Corrientes's Dante Martino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eulalio Ihazintu in the 16th minute of play. Rene Lidon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Erubiel Basualdo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Robustiano Venceslao's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. Erubiel Basualdo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugo Gabrio in the 25th minute of play. After having played for 27 minutes, Robustiano Venceslao managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atlético Corrientes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Robustiano Venceslao was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 30 played minutes Atlético Corrientes got a freekick which was hit by Alonzo Paez. In the 33rd minute, Hugo Gabrio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Erubiel Basualdo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugo Gabrio in the 52nd minute of play. Atlético Corrientes's Hugo Gabrio got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rene Lidon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Dante Martino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Atlético Corrientes's Hugo Gabrio got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 2-0 became the score in the 64th minute when Eulalio Ihazintu elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Tevez F.C's Erubiel Basualdo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mateo Montrel in the 68th minute of play. Erubiel Basualdo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 74th match minute, Atlético Corrientes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Octavio Ignazio to maneuver through the defense. Eulalio Ihazintu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Atlético Corrientes's zone, Rene Lidon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dante Martino came out of the goal and Rene Lidon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eulalio Ihazintu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dante Martino read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Tevez F.C's Bernabe Bide got a free kick in the 86th minute. Erubiel Basualdo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Flavio Pello, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 90 minutes into the match, Tevez F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Hugo Gabrio came free, but Erubiel Basualdo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Robustiano Venceslao received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Erubiel Basualdo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Robustiano Venceslao could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Erubiel Basualdo made a huge save.
