In the 27th minute, Hermengildo Abreu made a precise shot to the right of Alejandro Claude. Anguilan FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Ariel Gudesteo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilfredo Cordarius having to interfere. In the 40th minute Amado Fonso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilfredo Cordarius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hermengildo Abreu was extremely unlucky when he, in the 41st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

If Nemesio Abascal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 61stth minute of the game Amado Fonso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Belgrano AFC's Wilfredo Cordarius was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ariel Gudesteo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Amado Fonso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Wilfredo Cordarius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wilfredo Cordarius made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roman Bazil in the 74th minute. Alejandro Claude took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nemesio Abascal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 79th minute Hermengildo Abreu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alejandro Claude saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nemesio Abascal in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alejandro Claude saved Anguilan FC from getting behind. Ariel Gudesteo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilfredo Cordarius having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Belgrano AFC's zone, Ariel Gudesteo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilfredo Cordarius came out of the goal and Ariel Gudesteo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gervasio Poz kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Nemesio Abascal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Alejandro Claude tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Belgrano AFC had won after a very even match.
