In the 3rd minute, Romeo Oxel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jonas Serafo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eustaquio Aballe in the 9th minute of play. The attack was good, but when Hernan Elia in the 16th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Hernan Elia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teofilo Gotzon having to interfere. Hugo Gar kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. 32 minutes into the match, Shaw AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Aquiles Abadia came free, but Jonas Serafo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Romeo Oxel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Jonas Serafo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 37 minutes into the match, Shaw AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Aquiles Abadia came free, but Jonas Serafo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Eustaquio Aballe came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the FRANCIA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eustaquio Aballe couldn't finish the play. Marcos Pelayo took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Teofilo Gotzon. Teofilo Gotzon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eustaquio Aballe was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Shaw AFC's Jonathan Tartalo got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Marcos Pelayo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teofilo Gotzon having to interfere. When Hernan Elia came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Shaw AFC fans jumped to their feet. Teofilo Gotzon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcos Pelayo's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. If Aquiles Abadia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Eriberto Senin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Shaw AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Eriberto Senin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Teofilo Gotzon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, FRANCIA's Romeo Oxel got a free kick in the 80th minute. The corner ended in Zacarias Lain almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FRANCIA's Teofilo Gotzon did a great save. Marcos Pelayo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FRANCIA's Teofilo Gotzon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcos Pelayo in the 90th minute of play. Teofilo Gotzon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcos Pelayo, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. After 98 minutes, Alfonso Bidari mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Shaw AFC and the FRANCIA players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Shaw AFC getting a freekick after 98 minutes play. Alfonso Bidari hit a great ball.
