Lucian Baltian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 6 minutes, Hermengildo Leocadio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Vasquitos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hermengildo Leocadio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 21 played minutes Los Vasquitos FC got a freekick which was hit by Vladimiro Frasco. Modesto Acuña, 22 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 31 minutes into the match, Los Vasquitos FC's goalkeeper Cornelio Procopio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dionisio Nerio. Lucian Baltian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erubiel Corderall in the 32nd minute of the match. 22-12-83 No se OLVIDA...'s Modesto Acuña couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 34th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Los Vasquitos FC. Los Vasquitos FC's Cornelio Procopio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mateo Gitano in the 40th minute of play. Dionisio Nerio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Cornelio Procopio made a huge save. Erubiel Corderall fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucian Baltian having to interfere. In the 44th minute Hermengildo Leocadio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucian Baltian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hermengildo Leocadio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aquiles Fernado during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 59th minute there was a penalty for Los Vasquitos FC. Adolfo Ignatius stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Lucian Baltian. 0-2. Mateo Gitano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cornelio Procopio having to interfere. Mateo Gitano struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Cornelio Procopio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. In the 69th minute Dionisio Nerio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cornelio Procopio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Erubiel Corderall sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mateo Gitano in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cornelio Procopio saved Los Vasquitos FC from getting behind. In the 78th minute of the match, Hermengildo Leocadio tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Lucian Baltian saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Thanks to some nice moves Erubiel Corderall could shoot a difficult shot in the 81st minute, which Lucian Baltian however easily saved by the left post. 85 minutes into the game, 22-12-83 No se OLVIDA...'s Dionisio Nerio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cornelio Procopio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. When the match clock showed 89 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Dionisio Nerio sped through Los Vasquitos FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cornelio Procopio. 96 minutes into the match, Los Vasquitos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dionisio Nerio came free, but Cornelio Procopio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mateo Gitano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
