Spectators: 7259 (Terracing: 5446, Seating: 1669, VIP seats: 144) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Rafael Llorenc took the kick off in the first half of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 2nd minute, Cristian Sesuldo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gimnasia Mza's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sesuldo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ciriaco Cordarrell breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Gimnasia Mza's Octavio Diegotxe got a free kick in the 5th minute. Ciriaco Cordarrell came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Gimnasia Mza's Fernan Baraquiel. But to his dismay, Fernan Baraquiel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Ciriaco Cordarrell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernan Baraquiel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ciriaco Cordarrell didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Amador Cesario went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 22nd minute Amador Cesario shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciriaco Cordarrell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernan Baraquiel in the 23rd minute of play forced Tobatirenda's goalkeeper Ciriaco Cordarrell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gimnasia Mza's goalkeeper Feliciano Belo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tobatirenda's Ciriaco Cordarrell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernan Baraquiel in the 30th minute of play. Iker Bibiano kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Amador Cesario hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. 40 minutes into the match, Fernan Baraquiel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ciriaco Cordarrell. Tobatirenda's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fernan Baraquiel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Amador Cesario's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ciriaco Cordarrell read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. After the first half Gimnasia Mza were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Amador Cesario to make the kick off. Fernan Baraquiel in the 54thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ciriaco Cordarrell, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ciriaco Cordarrell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Amador Cesario, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. A collision led to Tobatirenda getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Rafael Llorenc hit a great ball. If Amador Cesario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arsenio Izotz kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. With his leg Ciriaco Cordarrell managed to avoid a goal in the 63rdth minute, when Gimnasia Mza's Amador Cesario fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Damian Ortzi charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Damian Ortzi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 66th minute, Damian Ortzi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristian Sesuldo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Ciriaco Cordarrell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ciriaco Cordarrell was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Octavio Diegotxe showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-5 in the 75 minute of play. In the 82nd minute, Amador Cesario left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gimnasia Mza fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-6. Ciriaco Cordarrell made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fernan Baraquiel in the 92nd minute. After 95 minutes of play, Gimnasia Mza's Fernan Baraquiel made it 0-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ciriaco Cordarrell was left in no man's land by his defense there!
