Iker Bibiano's late challenge caught a Club Atlético Paraní's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Iker Bibiano helped the player get up and apologised. 23 minutes into the match, Tobatirenda's goalkeeper Ciriaco Cordarrell had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Maximino Calisto. A collision led to Tobatirenda getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Iker Bibiano hit a great ball. With a little luck, Tobatirenda's Ciriaco Cordarrell got control of the ball when Victoriano Erruki tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ciriaco Cordarrell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliseo Piearres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Victoriano Erruki recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 41 minutes into the match, Tobatirenda's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseo Piearres came free, but Ciriaco Cordarrell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 43 minutes into the match, Tobatirenda's goalkeeper Ciriaco Cordarrell had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Victoriano Erruki. Ciriaco Cordarrell made an important save on a dangerous shot by Maximino Calisto in the 44th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rafael Llorenc to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Paraní's Lázaro Elorri got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Ciriaco Cordarrell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliseo Piearres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ciriaco Cordarrell stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eliseo Piearres's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cesar Benet during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 67 played minutes Club Atlético Paraní got a freekick which was hit by Cesar Benet. Damian Ortzi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Jairo Gotzon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ciriaco Cordarrell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximino Calisto, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximino Calisto in the 73rd minute of play forced Tobatirenda's goalkeeper Ciriaco Cordarrell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 79th minute Maximino Calisto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ciriaco Cordarrell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ciriaco Cordarrell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseo Piearres in the 82nd minute of the match. In the 87th minute, Maximino Calisto made a precise shot to the right of Ciriaco Cordarrell. Tobatirenda's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. 90 minutes into the match, Maximino Calisto notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Tobatirenda's Ciriaco Cordarrell. Ciriaco Cordarrell was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 96th minute, Maximino Calisto left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Atlético Paraní fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0.
