When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Filiberto Iaki made a kick off. Nestor Libertad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anastasio Vergaray, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. 68 minutes into the game, Luis Dayam was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Talleres's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Atlético Juarense the free kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Anastasio Vergaray in the 91st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nestor Libertad prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Club Atlético Juarense eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
